What size deep cycle battery do i need to run a 54lb 12v Trolling motor ?

The trolling motor has a 48 amp draw. I usually run it half speed for two days .
I currently have a pull start 25hp Tohatsu outboard with a output loom (80 watt/6.7 amp) .
Should I join up the deep cycle battery to the loom ? I have read that deep cycle battery's should be used to 50% capacity before charging . Is this true ?

Any size deep cycle battery will work. Group 27 is the smallest size I would use. Group 29 will give you longer running time but is heavier. If you don't need to remove the battery from the boat to charge it, go with G 29 or even G 31. Don't bother hooking to engine, you will have to eventually charge the batteries manually anyhow.
I always charged my batteries after each use and always got 3-4 years life.

Streaming video from media player off the net turns green after video buffers. sound is still there....?

When I click on links to watch an online video using windows media player, after the video buffers, the video plays and I can hear audio but the screen turns green. I'm unable to see anything? I updated to windows media player 11 and it's still doing it. Do I need to update or download anything else? if so, what and how. Please help. Thanks.

This is because you dont have the proper codecs. Usually, you will need a divx or xvid codec from divx.com or xvid.com. I suggest you figure out what you need before you download the codec, but it does't hurt to have the codecs installed anyways. After you download and install the codecs you can use windows media player to play the movies.

what is the difference between a powered audio snake and a non powered audio snake?

I have a small 8 channel mixer that has an amp built in. I have been using it on stage with me but am wanting to move it away from the stage to have someone mix for me. I am not sure what kind of snake I need for that since there are the two kinds. Please help.

Th mixer isn't going to be the deciding factor. It is the equipment you mix. a powered snake runs signal through the XLR(or 1/4", not sure what cable you have) but also an electrical charge to power microphones/equipment that would receive phantom power from the mixer when running just a cable. without knowing what kind of equipment you are mixing, I can't give you a definite answer. Wireless Mic for Lecterns (Tie-Clip / Lavalier) - Oklahoma Sound - LWM-6 Can I use this without a lectern?

I recently bought a Wireless Mic for Lecterns (Tie-Clip / Lavalier) - Oklahoma Sound - LWM-6. I have a Duracell Coppertop 9 Volt battery and the LED light is on. I am inferring that this battery is working. The plug to the mike is screwed in tightly and the volume is at max. Does anyone know how I can get this to work? Can I use this without a lectern?

Jong - Technically you do not need the lectern - but practically you do. The wireless mic needs a receiver, an amplifier and a speaker in order to work. The wireless receiver and amp and speaker are built into the lectern - you could remove that stuff from the lectern, but that would not be practical.

If you need a standalone wireless system - you will need a wireless system (mic beltpack and receiver) and then some type of PA system (amp and speaker) or a powered speaker (speaker with amp built in).

It'd make a great mobile phone text alert.

Try downloading limewire (www.limewire.com) and searching fro mobile phone alerts or gouranga. I used to have it and never searched for that, but they will probably have a fair few on there!
